Sneak Peak: H&M x Balmain Collaboration

Styled on Visions

The latest collaboration that H&M will debut is just a few days away. Just in time for the holidays. It has some beautiful pieces, but the prices I have seen make me gasp. When did H&M become designer couture??
It is understandable for a designer to want to keep the integrity of his/her work. BUT have you thought of the market targeted by the company you partnered up with. The prices are not H&M budget-friendly. Some pieces in the collection could be worth the investment. Of course, I would have to see how it fits and most important the quality.
This collection would have been more fitted with a high-end department store. It will be interesting to see the results of this collaboration since the price tag are on the higher end.
Here is a sneak peak of some of my favorite pieces (the prices range from $59.99 up to $649 for the pieces shown below).

Will you be investing your hard earned money on this collection?

50 Shades of Grey

Styled on Visions

We are in the midst of "sweater weather" and surrounded by so many beautiful Autumn foliage. This is my favorite time of the year. You get to layer up, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, or just take in nature's beautiful changing color palette.
But instead, I am here having a love affair with neutrals. Yup! You heard me. I am currently obsessed with nudes/beige, grey, white, camel. Every time I look at clothes online or in stores, I gravitate towards this palette. Especially grey. I am having a 50 Shades of Grey moment.
Here are some of my favorite grey pieces (some I might own and some are on my wishlist).

Recently, I purchased online the Buttoned Wool-Blend Coat from Forever 21. I got it in a large thinking it would be a better fit since everything in that store usually runs small. But this is the one item I have purchased there that actually fits big. Maybe I have lost some weight and I don't even realize it. LOL! Any who, its perfect for layering with the cooling temperatures we are starting to get here in New York. It definitely keeps you warm worn over a light weight sweater and your favorite scarf.
A great transitional piece to add to your wardrobe is the Longline Draped Jacket to spruce up your look. You can style the Draped Jacket (which I also own) with the Curvy Skinny Jeans and the Steven Madden Pumps. Or have a casual but chic look by wearing the Mock Neck Midi dress underneath.
If you want to keep warm and stylish, dress up in the Curvy Skinny Jeans and the Aztec Duster. It will definitely help on those chilly Autumn days that can be hair raising and give you goosebumps.
And for those off days, that consist of you stewing around the house,  keep your legs and footsies warm in the Cuffed Knee-High Slipper Socks. I definitely need to get me a pair.
How would you rock these pieces?

4 Beauty Products Under $50 (that I'm LOVIN')

Styled on Visions

"People will stare. Make it worth their while." -Harry Winston

Happy Tuesday Lovies! I hope you all had a great weekend and good start to your week. Unfortunately, I've been dealing with a migraine. Ugh, I hope I'm not getting sick with the inconsistence of temperatures here in New York.
Any who, as I have previously shared, I am a major product junkie. I am always checking or trying out a product. Today I will share my top favorites that I am loving and if you haven't tried any of them out, I suggest you do.
Here are the 4 Beauty Products Under $50:
4 Beauty Products Under 50

This palette is AH-MAZING! The colors in the palette come in a beautiful matte formula, allowing endless eye looks (from day to night), and rich in pigment. By applying small amounts of shadow you can build up to the level of shade intensity you want to achieve. A little definitely goes a long way.
Have you ever found an eyeshadow that you immediately have fallen in love with and you are quickly disappointed for its lack of pigment? Well, you don't have to worry about that with this palette.
This palette also comes with a cute little how-to guide inside to help you master your makeup application techniques.

Maybelline Face Studio Master Concealer

What woman hasn't tried again and again to find the best concealer for those darn dark circles? I was recently introduced to this beauty by my friend (Thank You Love). From Clinique to Benefit, I've tried out their concealers. They are good quality BUT nothing I was crazy about.
This concealer does exactly what it says in its name, it camouflages and brightens your under eye. I am blessed with having reddish dark color all around and under my eyes. But with the use of this small weapon, I am able to cover and brighten up my eyes. I get an instant awaken and refreshed appearance. Isn't this the ultimate goal you want to achieve? I challenge you to try this concealer out and let me know what you think.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer

After using the Studio Master Concealer (SMC), I use this concealer on top. It helps blend the SMC subtly into my skin tone.
It provides full coverage with a light weight formula.

Neutrogena Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer
Lastly, before I use any of the previous mentioned products, I prep my face with this moisturizer. I am very big on applying moisturizer/lotions to the face and body.
Before I began using this product, I used whatever was on sale. But after using certain products that dried out my face, I began to be more particular with products.
I wanted a product that would diminish dark marks and contain sunscreen. That is when I came across Neutrogena Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer. It contains 30 SPF and essential soy that helps reduce blotchiness and the look of dark spots.
It definitely has improved the appearance of my skin and reduce the appearance of some dark spots.

If you had any questions or were thinking in trying any of these products, I hope I clarified any doubts.

Styled on Visions

Styled on Visions

Welcome to the new and revamped blog...previously known as Classic, Sassy & Chic with a Twist.
For my readers that have been following me since the beginning of my blogging journey, I want to Thank You! And share a little snippet for my choice in rebranding.
About a year and half ago, I had to deal with some unexpected situations that took much of my attention and time. Which would leave me mentally drained and unable to dedicate time or work to the blog. In an attempt to get back into the grove of all things blogging after closing that overwhelming chapter of my life, I found myself not having any creative juices to tap into. I had become and felt disconnected from the blog. I was no longer feeling connected to the name and what it conveyed creatively. That was when I decided to rebrand.
Hence, Styled on Visions was born. I have always been and still am a visual learner. I get creatively fueled by images I visually engulf on a daily basis. It can be from the colors in the sky down to the color of a car. We are endlessly surrounded by art in different forms and shapes. The best art I looooove is clothing. There are so many colors and textures, that it becomes difficult at times to decide what to wear or even buy. In this new chapter, I will share more of my artistic talents and creativity thru the blog. I will bring you polished looks for on the run completing errands to a work or holiday event. All at affordable or reasonable prices. You don't have to spend a million to look like you did.
I welcome you if you are new and invite you to follow me on STYLED ON VISIONS.

Celebrity Style Watch: Kourtney Kardashian

Styled on Visions

Another week is upon us, granting us a fresh start to set new goals. How are or will you be setting the tone for your fresh start?
In case you need a little fashion inspiration for the week, here is the new Celebrity Style Watch series. It was before called Steal the Look for Less.
The oldest of the Kardashian clan is always indecisive when it comes to making a decision or choice. But one thing she is 100% sure of is her style.
Kourtney makes any outfit look effortless and flawless, even when pregnant. I only hope to look that amazing if I ever do become pregnant.

One of my favorite looks that she donned while out and about during her third pregnancy is this look. This outfit is a great transitional piece now that fall is upon us (my favorite season). You can pair any summer piece with fall staple pieces to keep cozy and warm.
If you like the look and want to replicate, here's where to shop for it:
